The animation was decent for being 8-bit, but the the story wasn't terribly interesting, and the audio had a weird static pop in the background just so you know.

I liked the animation in this video. The sound quality, however, was a bit sketchy. Also, I am aware that this is a teaser of sorts, but it didn't catch my attention enough to want to watch the rest of the series.

Umm. I'm not sure I understand you. The mp3 can be up-ressed. However, if you are implying a trailer, then I'm unfamiliar if trailers are acceptable on Newgrounds, though that would be quite nice to make. This is my first episodic, that lies between a series and a short film, so you could call this an audience test, In light of that it is not meant to be perfect.

If the movie is for you, well, that's a personal decision.

Your sense of humor just kills me. It has been a long time since I have watched something on NG that made me laugh so hard my stomach hurt. I guess it would be sort of redundant for me to comment on your artistic talent and style at this point. This thing was fantastic, but I am going to cease my excessive use of verbiage and watch it again.

Good animation.

The positive part of this submission was the interesting animation style. It looks like you put a lot of work into making this look good.
I would say, however that the negatives might overshadow this very positive aspect. The sound quality was absolutely wretched. It was always either crackly, in the case of background voice overs too quiet, or in the case of foreground voices too loud. The voice acting is dry and unenthusiastic and the script was kind of boring. If this were re-released with polished audio I may consider rating higher.

Anyway, there really isn't anything to this movie it is just a spinning and panning lizard with boxing gloves, a cuss word, and crappy spelling. Oh yeah an super obnoxious music.

I can't talk about this movie...

without using the word cool. I like the storyline. It is interesting that although some of your ideas have already been used(but only a couple of times) you managed to give this a fresh and exciting feel. The animation was excellent and all of the effects you used came together really well. I think the text was paced almost perfectly (a little fast sometimes but not the worst I have seen) and the dialogue was well written. Your voice acting was above average, and the audio samples you picked were appropriate and well timed. Very nice!
